Quiz Storme Format — 4 Rounds

Online MCQ Quiz Round
Negative Marking If 100+ Participants / 50+ Teams

Preliminary elimination round conducted online with multiple-choice questions. This round filters participants based on accuracy and speed. Negative marking applies to discourage random guessing.

Offline Quiz Round
Max 30 Teams

The main offline quiz round where qualified teams compete in-person. Questions cover computer science fundamentals, current tech trends, and analytical reasoning. Teams must demonstrate both depth and breadth of knowledge.

Rapid Fire Round
Max 10 Teams

High-intensity rapid-fire session where the top 10 teams face quick-succession questions. Teams must answer within seconds, testing their presence of mind, quick recall, and performance under pressure.

Tie-Breaker Round
5 Advanced Questions

Final decisive round with 5 advanced, complex questions to break ties between top-performing teams. Questions are designed to test deep technical knowledge and critical thinking.

General Instructions

Registration & Entry

  • Participants must register for the event prior to the fest.
  • College ID card is mandatory for entry.

Event Conduct

  • Follow the schedule strictly; late entries may not be entertained.
  • Maintain discipline — no disruptive behavior will be tolerated.

Participation Rules

  • Follow the time limits for all events strictly.
  • Use only approved resources provided by the Event In-Charge.
  • Plagiarism or unfair practices will lead to immediate disqualification.

Closing & Certificates

  • Certificates/awards will be distributed only to registered participants.
  • Ensure your attendance is marked before the event begins for eligibility.
  • Organizers are not responsible for participants' personal items.
